Allira Wilson is one of Australia's most exciting young talents, whose musical approach has been described as 'as brave and raw as it is supple and intricate.'. Allira's debut album ‘Rise and Fall’ won the Australian Bell Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2014.

In this show, she joins with drummer Ben Vanderwal, bassist Karl Florisson, pianist Tom O'Halloran, with Lucky Oceans on steel guitar, accordion and vocals to find the deep connections between Spirituals, Folk Music and Jazz, singing such songs as ‘Hallelujah,’ ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘I Wish I Knew What it Meant to be Free.’
